More Space Place® Franchise Receives Top Rankings

CLEARWATER, FLORIDA (Monday, January 16, 2006) - More Space Place® franchise has just been ranked #414 by Entrepreneur Magazine as one of the nation’s best in their Annual Franchise 500 Issue. Also recently, the nation’s largest wall bed retailer has been recognized in Bond’s Top 100 Franchise Guide (published by Source Book Publications). This is the second year in a row that More Space place has been listed by this publication as one of America’s Top 100 Franchises.

“This is fantastic recognition for our growing system,” says Company VP of Franchising, Marty Juarez. “Our expansion is benefiting everyone in our system because we are continuing to improve our knowledge base and add personnel, thus increasing the amount of services that we provide.”

According to Bond’s Franchise Guide, the franchising industry contains over 2,300 different concepts. Both the Entrepreneur Magazine and Bond’s publications have objective criteria by which they determine whom is to be a part of their ranking. Although there are variations in their methodologies, some of the items they measure are: financial strength and stability, growth rate, size of the system, number of years in business, length of time franchising, startup costs, litigation, percentage of terminations, and training provided.

“What is remarkable is that the numbers they ranked us on are actually dated now,” continued Juarez, “they reflect only 32 Operating Stores. As of today, we have 35 Operating units and will have six more showrooms within a few months.”
