Tilden Car Care Centers Expand To California

LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK (Thursday, November 11, 1999) - Tilden Associates Inc. which operates under the name Tilden Car Care Centers, announced the opening of its first California franchise owned by Terin and Becky Harris of Temecula, Calif.
Terin and Becky Harris have signed a 10 store Market Development Partner Agreement with Tilden, which brings Tilden to Southern California in a big way. The Harris' look forward to bringing the Tilden name which has a 75 year quality reputation in the automotive service industry, providing complete automotive service and repairs throughout the country, to the Southern California market.

Located at 151 N. Rose Street, Suite 103C, Escondido, CA 92927, this facility is a state-of-the-art, fully equipped, car care center which offers a complete array of repairs for all types of vehicles. Tilden Car Care Centers had been started as a family enterprise in 1923 by the Tilden Family of Long Island, N.Y. As business grew, the family offered franchise opportunities to dedicated employees. Now Tilden is expanding nationally, both by acquisitions and through franchises, thus far establishing 60 car care centers in 11 states. The new Escondido center is now open for business and looks forward to servicing customers throughout the area.
