Spray Tan Of America To Start Florida Operations

FEDERAL WAY, WA. (Tuesday, October 07, 2003) - Federal Way, WA. based Spray Tan of America recently announced the start of their Florida operations with the first franchised airbrush tanning salon in that state set to open this coming November. Negotiations were finally completed and the franchise was awarded to Kelly and Tony Hartman of Tampa. The Hartmans plan on locating the first salon in the north Tampa area. “We are very excited and have been looking forward to this for sometime now. This is definitely the method of the future and promoting a safe and healthy way of tanning is what attracted us to this franchise. We see great growth and plenty of good things to come,” said Kelly Hartman.

Spray Tan of America CEO Larry B. Jones in announcing the Florida operations stated that the start of company activities into this new market was in line with the recent launching of their national expansion program. “We have worked closely with Kelly and Tony and felt that they were the ideal type of people that we wanted in our organization. I look forward to a very successful business relationship with these fine people” Jones said.

Spray Tan of America is steadily gaining a strong foothold into the sunless tanning industry during its infancy and being a pioneer has allowed them to take the lead in what is turning out to be a growing trend. Because of the safety and health aspects associated with UV free tanning the potential is enormous. An estimated 20 million people are expected to be using this form of tanning within the next 3 years. Educating, exposing and providing this method of tanning is the main focus of Spray Tan of America.

This latest salon brings the total number to 11 within the last 6 months.
