MEMPHIS (Thursday, August 01, 2002) - Two of the nation's best known home and product repair services companies - The ServiceMaster Home Service Center, a subsidiary of The ServiceMaster Company (NYSE: SVM), and Sears, Roebuck and Co. (NYSE: S) - have partnered to provide ServiceMaster customers more flexibility and options on scheduling product repair services for their homes.
By partnering with Sears, ServiceMaster Home Service Center customers who visit www.servicemaster.com or call 1-888-WE-SERVE will now have the ability to tap into the vast network of Sears Parts and Repair Services' 12,000 technicians. Sears service technicians make in-home repairs on all major brands of kitchen and laundry appliances, tractor-mowers, large-screen televisions--no matter where they were purchased.
