Leaders Built At Second Annual Owens Corning Diversity Leadership Conference

TOLEDO, OHIO (Wednesday, January 26, 2005) - Owens Corning will be host to
24 college students, participating in the second annual Diversity Leadership
Conference Thursday, Jan. 27, through Saturday, Jan. 29, at the OC World
Headquarters. During the conference, attendees representing eight colleges
and an array of cultural backgrounds will go through exercises and workshops
that build their understanding of leadership and corporate values.
The conference will help students identify their strengths and expose them
to the possibility of achieving extraordinary results by exercising new kinds
of thinking. In addition, OC representatives will address cultural and global
issues that impact the business world.
Attendees will get a first hand look at OC's guiding principles, and
interact with company leaders, including CEO Dave Brown and Joseph High,
Senior Vice President of Human Resources.
