Mr. Rooter® Hits Record Attendance At North American Conference In Palm Springs

WACO, TEXAS (Thursday, January 23, 2003) - More than 150 people from the Mr. Rooter® franchise network attended the company’s recent North American Conference in Palm Springs, Calif., Jan. 13-16.
“It was an outstanding turnout,” said Mike Bidwell, president of Mr. Rooter. “And it is representative of our franchise owners working on their business, rather than in their business.”

The annual conference, according to Bidwell, gave attendees a chance to collaborate as a franchise network; learn from peers and pros; sharpen marketing, sales and revenues goals; and prepare to implement those tactics in the marketplace.

The North American Conference focused on: expanding into the commercial market, training on new system-wide software, maximizing local advertising, and establishing successful teams within franchises at the local level.

The keynote Enter”TRAIN”Ment was provided by Dr. Tom Steiner, professional management consultant and motivational speaker.
