Mr. Electric Joins The International Association Of Electrical Inspectors

WACO, TEXAS (Wednesday, February 12, 2003) - Mr. Electric® has become an associate member of the International Associates of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI).
“It’s a great professional organization that will provide our franchise owners with the best and latest updates on the National Electrical Codes,” said Rick Cross, president of Mr. Electric.

Mr. Electric kicked off its membership in IAEI by providing franchise owners with a seminar on code changes to single and double family dwellings at the Mr. Electric 2003 National Conference, recently held in Austin, Texas. Keith Lofland, of the IAEI, conducted the seminar.

The IAEI extends membership to all groups who value electrical safety, including: inspectors, utilities, insurance groups, dealers, contractors, electricians and more. The IAEI pledges to:

Cooperate in the formulation of standards for installing and using electrical materials, devices and appliances safely.
Promote uniform understanding and application of electrical codes.
Promote uniform administration ordinances and inspection methods.
Collect and disseminate information relative to the safe use of electricity.
Represent electrical inspectors nationally and internationally.
Cooperate with national and international organizations in the further development of the electrical industry.
Promote cooperation among inspections, government inspection departments, the electrical industry, and the public.
