Mr. Electric Launches Unique Lighting Landscape Design Program

WACO, TEXAS (Tuesday, August 03, 2004) - Mr. Electric®, the world’s largest electrical service and repair franchise, has partnered with Unique Lighting Systems for a new, low-voltage landscape lighting design program. The program, which officially launched in June, gives Mr. Electric® franchisees the opportunity to install Unique Lighting’s low-voltage lighting systems to their customers creating custom-designed front yard, back yard, and security lighting portraits.

“We already provide Unique Lighting’s high-end, specialized hardware and lighting design to our franchisees and their markets,” said Rick Cross, president of Mr. Electric. “Now, using those resources, Mr. Electric employees can work with a homeowner to create a unique landscape portrait, custom-designed for their home.”

Mr. Electric franchisees will participate in training sessions at Unique Lighting’s corporate headquarters in Escondido, Calif., where they will learn to design and install outdoor lighting for maximum curb appeal. After training, they will be qualified to provide on-site, customized lighting demonstrations and installations.
