Mars International Makes Donation To Mission Arlington

ARLINGTON, TX (Friday, September 09, 2005) - David Jones, the founder of M.A.R.S. International donated $15,000.00 to Mission Arlington’s Katrina Relief effort on behalf of M.A.R.S. International, Inc. this week.

“We have done well this year and it is a joy to share that success with folks in need,” said Jones, who serves on the Mission Arlington Communications Committee and regularly contributes to their efforts. “I find they fully utilize my donations to benefit those in need, very little is lost in administration costs.”

M.A.R.S. employees are contributing individually in a number of different disaster relief efforts, including earlier this week when the staff collectively donated a pickup load of non-perishables for the Fort Worth dealer Fran Kent. Frank Kent, a customer of M.A.R.S., shut down their operation for a full day to collect non-perishable items for the Katrina relief effort and M.A.R.S. employees were eager to participate. The effort filled two semi-trailer loads of non-perishable goods for the Katrina relief effort.

“Several M.A.R.S. Operators were personally affected by the hurricane and we are making sure that their needs are met during this time,” said Jayson Jones, president of M.A.R.S. “We are also encouraging all of our Operators across the country to donate to Mission Arlington and other similar relief efforts which providing assistance to the victims of this tragedy. Our hearts and prayers go out to all of those personally affected by this terrible event.”

M.A.R.S. believes that every small business should organize an effort to help our fellow citizens in this time of need. We intend to provide what assistance we can whenever it is called for.
