Gastonia Jersey Mike’s Receives Prestigious Platinum “a” Award For High Health Inspection Scores

GASTONIA (Tuesday, August 23, 2005) - The Gaston County Health Department has recognized the Gastonia Jersey Mike’s for its consistently high scores on county health inspections. The County’s Health Department gives restaurants a Golden “A” Award when they score 95% out of a possible 100% for an entire year, which is four inspections. The Platinum “A” is awarded to restaurants that score 95% or higher for five years straight. The Gastonia location has scored 97% or higher for 22 consecutive inspections – every single one since they opened in September 1998.
