As The Company Did In Louisiana, Jani-king Is Helping The Hospitals Of South Florida Recover After Wilma

ADDISON, TEXAS (Thursday, October 27, 2005) - In an effort to get hospitals back on-line after hurricane Wilma, Jani-King International is working to deliver supplies and personnel to facilities throughout South Florida.

This is not the first time that Jani-King has been called on to rescue a hospital’s operation after a natural disaster. In 2004, Jani-King coordinated relief efforts at several Florida hospitals when healthcare service was disrupted as a result of multiple hurricanes. Currently, Jani-King is working to restore operations at several hospitals in New Orleans and along the Gulf Coast.

According to Regna, “healthcare administrators must have an emergency plan for when the hospital itself becomes a victim.” He also advises that the emergency plan be coordinated for worst-case scenario events so that the hospital may recover more quickly.

In South Florida, Jani-King is providing healthcare facilities with equipment, supplies, and specially trained manpower that are experienced at disaster recovery.
