Florida's Fourth Hawthorn Suites Opens In Fort Myers

ATLANTA (Friday, December 03, 1999) - Hawthorn Suites' Florida expansion continues as Biloxi, Miss.-based V-B1 L.P. has opened the state's fourth Hawthorn property at 9200 College Parkway in Fort Myers. There are currently three Hawthorns open in Orlando at Universal Studios, the Airport and Sea World, and a property under construction in Orlando/Lake Buena Vista.
Hawthorn Suites is targeted to business travelers attending training classes, assigned to long-term projects or on other extended-stay travel, as well as to families relocating to a new city or on vacation. Hawthorn offers daily complimentary hot breakfast buffet and evening social hour Monday through Thursday, plus an array of all-inclusive guest amenities and business services. The Hawthorn brand is franchised by Atlanta-based U.S. Franchise Systems (Nasdaq: USFS).
