Golden Chick Restaurants And Former Dallas Cowboy - All Pro Jay Novacek Join Forces To Support The Boy Scouts Of America Circle Ten Council.

DALLAS (Friday, October 13, 2000) - Golden Chick has been the host sponsor for four years. During this time, BSA - Jay Novacek - Golden Chick Sporting Clays Invitational has been the largest sporting clays fund raising event for the Boy Scouts of America. To date pledges for the October 13, 2000, event is over $400,000. This will bring our total to over 1,000,000 in just four short years.

The money raised for the Circle Ten Council, benefits thousands of Scouts with proceeds being used for:

Help sending boys to camp
Assits them with uniforms
Help pay registration cost
Provide youth recognition
Help train their leaders
Provide staff support
With this help, scouting's time-tested program of character building, citizenship training and physical fitness will benefit all boys in our community.
