Founded in 1989, the Club operates a fleet of late model, professionally maintained boats that members can use anytime without the expense and headaches of boat ownership. Washington/Baltimore area residents can now enjoy unlimited boating privileges at Freedom Boat Club locations in Pasadena, MD; Woodbridge, VA and the newest location in the Washington Marina along the Southwest DC waterfront.

How does Freedom Boat Club work?

The Club handles slip fees, maintenance, cleaning, repairs, insurance, storage, plus the cost of the boat, financing charges and depreciation—and more. Members receive unlimited privileges at the three area locations, plus 14 other U.S. locations.

Whenever members want to enjoy the water, they simply:

Call or email the Club and select a vessel. Choices include ski boats, cabin cruisers, sailboats, fishing boats and pontoon boats.

Boats are fully prepped, gassed and clean; members simply hop on and enjoy the day.

When members are done, they simply drop the boat off. There are no clean-up, storage, maintenance or other related chores.
