Barrister And Expetec Collaborate To Deliver New Value-add Services

Target Rapid Introduction of Services Enabled Through Expetec’s Franchise Network

BUFFALO, NEW YORK AND ABERDEEN, SOUTH DAKOTA (Wednesday, November 13, 2002) - Barrister Global Services Network, Inc. (AMEX: BIS), a premiere provider of multi-vendor IT services, and Expetec Technology Services, a franchisee-based provider of high-level technical services to commercial and consumer customers, announced today increased collaboration to deliver new value-add services to market, targeting rapid introduction of Barrister services enabled through Expetec’s expansive franchise network of more than 200 certified technicians located throughout North America. This new collaborative initiative expands a current partnership between the two companies focused on break/fix services.

The companies will collaborate to provide training programs for Barrister and Expetec technicians focused on new value-add services offered by Barrister, including UNIX computing environment support, point-of-sale services, extended warranties, equipment installations and technology deployment projects. The companies will also team with manufacturers to provide technician certification programs for specific new products that Barrister will service, ensuring Barrister and Expetec technicians are trained at the highest standards in the latest technologies.

The training programs will be integrated into the Expetec Business Builder System, a strategic growth system allowing Expetec franchisees to rapidly expand their offerings beyond traditional break/fix to value-add services. The programs will be delivered through the E-Institute, Expetec’s new state-of-the-art training facility located in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Training will be available on-site at the E-Institute, on-site at a manufacturer or other location, and through distance learning for anytime, anywhere access.
