Erbert & Gerbert’s Raises Nearly $5,000 For Dine For America

EAU CLAIRE, WI (Monday, October 31, 2005) - Erbert & Gerbert’s Subs & Clubs joined a team of restaurants nationwide on Wednesday, October 5, as part of the Dine For America event, developed by the National Restaurant Association, to support the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund and help those affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Several Erbert & Gerbert’s restaurants participated and helped raised nearly $5,000 – which included a matching corporate gift from E&G Franchise Systems, Inc.

Erbert & Gerbert’s donated a percentage of their day-long sales on October 5, 2005. “Erbert & Gerbert’s thanks its customers who support their efforts to give back to those in need,” said Eric Wolfe, CEO of Erbert & Gerbert’s Subs & Clubs. “Like many others throughout the country, we find it important to support those who are in need and suffer from such devastating natural disasters.”

This year, Dine for America mobilized more than 17,000 restaurants, raising millions for hurricane relief efforts according to National Restaurant Association. One hundred percent of the funds raised through Dine for America will go directly to the American Red Cross to help the survivors, victims, their families and other needs arising from the Hurricane Katrina and Rita disaster.
