Dwyer Joins Steering Committee Of Remodeling Futures Program In Harvard's Joint Center For Housing Studies

WACO, TEXAS (Thursday, January 27, 2005) - Doug Dwyer, owner and president of DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen by Worldwide®, one of the largest remodeling franchise companies in the nation, has accepted an invitation to join the Remodeling Futures Program’s Steering Committee.

The Remodeling Futures Program, launched in 1995, is producing a better understanding of the US home improvement industry so that businesses can better take advantage of the opportunities that this market offers. “I’m honored to be joining a reputable group of peers and industry leaders who are generating much-needed information about the growth and trends in our multi-billion-dollar industry,” Dwyer said.

The Remodeling Futures Program, a collaborative undertaking among university researchers, government officials, industry analysts, and industry associations, seeks to answer questions of how remodeling fits into the residential construction industry including demographic trends, housing and tenure characteristics, regional characteristics of remodelers and remodeling contractors, and the evolving structure of the building materials industry. The Remodeling Futures Program is a research program within the Joint Center for Housing Studies at Harvard University.
