Eatza Pizza Enters Southern California Market With Opening Of New Baldwin Park Restaurant

Scottsdale-Based Pizza Buffet Concept Debuts New 6,000-Square-Foot Unit at 3000 Big Dalton Blvd.

BALDWIN PARK, CALIFORNIA (Sunday, May 15, 2005) - Eatza Pizza Inc., a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based operator of valued-priced pizza buffet restaurants, today announced its entry into the southern California market with the opening on Monday, May 23 of its first restaurant, located at 3000 Big Dalton Blvd., north of the San Bernardino Freeway at Merced and Puente next to Wal-Mart.

The new restaurant will be the first of seven new units to open over the course of the next three years in Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino and Riverside Counties under an area development agreement with EP Southern California LLC.

The announcement was made by Ron Stilwell, president of the rapidly expanding company. Eatza Pizza features an all-you-want pizza, pasta, chicken, Zatos®, side dishes, salad and dessert menu at one low price and currently has 72 restaurants opened or under development in the states of Arizona, California, Utah, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, Ohio and Michigan.

The new 6,000-square-foot freestanding restaurant will introduce the unique pizza buffet concept to southern Californians and incorporate the chain’s new prototype design – including a large redemption game area for children.

The new Baldwin Park location is designed to appeal to families, school groups and youth sports teams.
