Wingstop Opens First Las Vegas Casino Location

Nation’s leading chicken-wing chain opens fourth Las Vegas location

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA (Monday, November 07, 2005) - Looking to spice up the palates of hungry patrons with a love for great tasting, cooked to order chicken wings, Wingstop Restaurants, Inc. opened its fourth Las Vegas location on Friday, August 26 in the Santa Fe Station Hotel and Casino.

Lance Graulich, owner of Winglord III LLC, opened his third location in Las Vegas at 4949 N. Rancho Dr. The restaurant is located in the casino’s food court and has its own large dining room that seats 60.

“This is a very unique location for Wingstop,” said Graulich. “We have extended our hours to accommodate the late night traffic and have received a tremendous response from both locals and tourists.”

In addition to its unique attributes, this location serves Wingstop’s new 100 percent, all-white meat chicken breast boneless wings. Wingstop selected the new wings, which feature Wingstop’s own proprietary batter and breading recipe along with marinated breast meat, after extensive research into the consumer market for chicken products.

“With the success that we have already experienced with this location, we are hopeful that we will be opening additional Wingstops in other Station Casinos properties soon,” said Graulich.

The new Wingstop is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to midnight and Friday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Orders can be phoned in to the new location at (702) 312-WING (9464).

Two more Las Vegas Wingstops are planned for early 2006, the first will be on the East side on the corner of Stewart and Nellis and the second on Craig and Simmons in North Las Vegas.

Wingstop offers restaurants with a nostalgic, aviation-themed atmosphere where the sole focus is on chicken wings. The chain features nine proprietary wing flavors, including Original Hot, Cajun, Atomic, Mild, Teriyaki, Lemon Pepper, Hawaiian, Garlic Parmesan, and our brand new Hickory Smoked BBQ. The wings are always made-to-order and served steaming hot. Customers also choose from homemade side dishes: fresh-cut seasoned fries, bourbon baked beans, pearl potato salad, creamy cole slaw, vegetable sticks, rolls and assorted dipping sauces.

Wingstop has more than 400 restaurants either open or under development in 25 states and consistently tops industry growth rankings. In 2004, Wingstop was ranked the number one chicken wing chain by Entrepreneur magazine and number four in Restaurants & Institutions’ Top 400 Sales-Growth Leaders (the only wing chain in the top ten). In July 2005, Wingstop ranked number 13 in Restaurant Business’ Top 50 Growth Chains (ranked by percentage increase in units). Troy Aikman, former Dallas Cowboy and three-time Super Bowl champion, signed on as the chain’s national spokesman in 2003.
