Barnie's Coffee & Tea Company Signed Franchise Agreement In Istanbul, Turkey

ORLANDO, FLORIDA (Tuesday, November 08, 2005) - Barnie's Coffee & Tea Company is pleased to announce the exclusive “Franchise/Joint Venture” for 60 plus stores and wholesale distribution rights for our exclusive gourmet products to grocery, restaurants, and convenience stores with REY-food in Istanbul Turkey in conjunction with Reysas Logistics. Mr. Durmus Doven, Chairman of the Board for REY-food of Istanbul Turkey and Neil Leach, Chairman/CEO of Barnie's Coffee & Tea Co., Orlando, Florida USA, completed the agreement on October 27, 2005.
The first store is expected to open before year’s end with 11 more planned for 2006, 10 in 2007, and 17 in 2008! Store sites have already been selected for 47 of the 60 stores planned.

Mr. Leach stated he is both pleased and honored to have the association with REY-food and the Durmus family, one of Istanbul’s leading companies, and look forward to developing Barnie’s in Turkey. During his visit Mr. Leach expressed that “Istanbul is the world’s best kept secret. Istanbul is modern, European, avante guard, progressive, and delightful.”

Finalizing his visit to Istanbul, Mr. Leach also visited Ireland where Barnie’s currently has established 4 stores in the prominent city of Dublin.

Currently, Barnie’s has over 100 company-owned and franchised retail locations with a customer base that spans the globe. Coffee-of-the-month programs, corporate gifts and other unique items are offered through the company’s e-commerce and catalog divisions. This allows Barnie’s customers to bring the coffee shop experience right into their own home.
