Jeff Moody Named Chairman, President & Chief Executive Officer Of Metromedia Restaurant Group

PLANO, TX (Monday, September 12, 2005) - Metromedia Restaurant Group (MRG®), which operates Bennigan's Grill and Tavern®, Steak and Ale Restaurants®, Ponderosa Steakhouses® and Bonanza Steakhouses®, and the Plano and Southlake Tavern restaurants, announced today that Jeff Moody has been named Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of MRG. Mr. Moody previously served as President of Metromedia Steakhouses, which operates Ponderosa Steakhouses® and Bonanza Steakhouses®.

Mr. Moody replaces John Todd, who resigned from MRG. Mr. Todd had been commuting from California to Texas and desired to spend more time with his family.
