Cinnabon® Invites Guests To “chill Out” With New Chillattas™

Beverages complement company’s growth strategies and existing line of indulgent treats

ATLANTA (Tuesday, May 31, 2005) - Cinnabon®, Inc., maker of the world famous rolls filled with Makara® Cinnamon, is chillin’ this summer with another sweet idea – hand-blended frozen beverages called Chillattas™. These refreshingly indulgent drinks come in six flavorful varieties: Strawberry, Strawberry Banana, Tropical Blast, Cappuccino, Caramel, and Chocolate Mocha.

All drinks are hand-made, combining traditional flavors with milk and ice, finished with a swirl of syrup, whip topping and a drizzle. The Tropical Blast, an exciting combination of mangos, passion fruit and orange juice, is an option for those guests looking for a non-dairy beverage.

“We are very excited about what Chillattas can do for our long-term brand growth strategies,” said Steve Romaniello, president and CEO of FOCUS Brands Inc., parent company of Cinnabon. “Since we’ve been offering the world’s greatest cinnamon roll for the last 20 years, the addition of the new Chillatta line allows our guests another delicious way to indulge themselves.”

“Our guests love the true, fresh fruit flavor of this new product line,” added franchise partner CinnaWorkS’ National Director James Walker. “The Chillattas’ eye-catching presentation appeals to all ages, and many guests have come back time and again for their new favorite treat.”

Available at all participating Cinnabon locations, Chillattas are served in 16- and 24-ounce plastic cups.

These Chillattas are soooo cool that you might need a Cinnabon to warm you back up!
