Beaner's Gourmet Coffee Opens First South Carolina Location In Mt. Pleasant

Second Southern Location for the Coffee House Franchise

LANSING, MICH (Wednesday, October 19, 2005) - BEANER’S Gourmet Coffee, a Lansing-based coffee house franchise, will open the doors of its first South Carolina location this Monday, October 24. Store owners Stu and Fran Marley will be hosting a grand opening celebration. The store is located in Mt. Pleasant at Highway 17 and Anna Knapp Boulevard.

The grand opening celebration will be perfect for workers and families in the area. The store will celebrate the grand opening with balloons, a “Chocolate Covered Coffee Bean” contest, giveaways and events all week. The Friday following the opening, the owners will host a party to celebrate their grand opening. The party will be held from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and include a live radio broadcast and free giveaways.

The store will offer a 50-person seating area with a children’s table, as well as cozy quiet areas. It will also offer free wireless internet access to customers. An outdoor seating area overlooking a pond will be open to customers year-round.

“We are ecstatic to be opening a second store in the South,” said Michael McFall, President. “As we grow into new areas it shows the universal appeal of BEANER’S stores and products. We are confident that Mt. Pleasant residents will welcome BEANER’S to the community.”

BEANER’S specializes in gourmet coffee and fine teas. The gourmet coffee house features more than 30 specialty coffee, tea and frozen drinks. Each day, the store brews six special coffees, and carries a broad selection of pastries, fruit, soups and sandwiches.

The Mt. Pleasant BEANER’S Gourmet Coffee store is located in the Publix Shopping Center at 1150 Queensborough Blvd. in Mt. Pleasant, SC. The store is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
