Beaner’s Gourmet Coffee Opens First Location In Wisconsin

LANSING, MICH (Monday, November 21, 2005) - BEANER’S Gourmet Coffee, a Lansing-based coffee house franchise, will open its first Wisconsin location in Kenosha on Monday, December 5. Construction has begun and is near completion on the new BEANER’S Gourmet Coffee store located on 75th Street, where the Baskin Robbins and Dunkin Donuts store once stood.

The new store will be the first BEANER’S location for local owner, Liz Moore. Liz has enjoyed coffee for many years and dreamed of owning her own coffee shop. She is ready to offer the best products in the coffee industry along with a cozy, friendly environment.

The new store will offer a 25-person seating area with a fireplace, as well as cozy quiet areas. It will also offer free wireless internet access to customers. During the warmer months, outdoor patio seating will be available. A big advantage that the store offers is a full-service drive thru – a very convenient service for customers on the go.

“The Kenosha community needs a gourmet coffee shop in the heart of the prime retail district that is convenient and easy to access,” said Liz Moore. “I believe that the BEANER’S pledge to offer a superior product, in a fast, efficient and friendly manner, is second to none in this business; and the drive thru option really offers the total package.”

BEANER’S specializes in gourmet coffee and fine teas. The gourmet coffee house features more than 30 specialty coffee, tea and frozen drinks. Each day, the store brews six special coffees, and carries a broad selection of pastries, fruit, soups and sandwiches.

BEANER’S opened their first store in 1995 and began franchising in 1999. Global Orange Development, BEANER’S franchising company, has opened 40 BEANER’S Gourmet Coffee stores since. There are franchises in five states, including 30 in Michigan, nine in Ohio, and stores in Indiana, Alabama and South Carolina. The company plans to continue its rapid expansion in the Midwest and South next year.

The Kenosha BEANER’S Gourmet Coffee store is located at 7180 75th St. in Kenosha, Wis. The store will be open Monday through Saturday from 5:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
