The Recreation Vehicle (rv) Is A $12 Billion Per Year Industry.
(Tuesday, August 16, 2005) -
The RV is a vehicle that combines transportation and temporary living quarters for travel, recreation and camping. RVs are either motorized or towable. Motorized RVs include van campers and motorhomes. Towable units are folding camping trailers, truck campers, fifth-level travel trailers, and conventional travel trailers. Conversion vehicles are vans, trucks, and sport utility vehicles that have been modified for added comfort and convenience by a company specializing in customized vehicles. The annual retail value of conversion vehicle shipments is $3.4 billion. There's an RV for every taste and budget, starting from about $3,300 for a folding camping trailer and $4,000 for a truck camper, to an average $14,000 for a travel trailer and $64,000 for a motorhome. Conversion vehicles average $29,200 and are sold by auto dealers rather than RV dealers. View all Bates Motor Home Rental Network Inc. Press Releases This article has been read 523 times.
