Alta Mere Plans Two New Austin Locations

AUSTIN (Monday, November 21, 2005) - Alta Mere Industries Inc. is targeting Austin for expanding its auto imaging concept.


The company plans to open two locations in Austin by 2008 and plans to open 11 to 13 new Texas locations by the end of 2008.

Alta Mere specializes in maintaining and upgrading cars through services such as window tinting, security, and paint protection. Alta Mere also provides installation services such as GPS navigation systems, audio upgrades, and flip-down TV and DVD systems.

Alta Mere has 30 locations nationwide. The chain has one location in Austin at 8816 Research Blvd.

"The increasing popularity of high-end car customization has created a demand for the products and services offered by Alta Mere, allowing us to expand in regions such as Austin where we already have a presence," says Peter Baldine, senior vice president.

Baldine adds that the hot weather in Austin makes services such as window tinting not just an add-on but a necessity. One of Alta Mere's most popular products is its Huber Optik nanoceramic technology window film, which cuts excess glare and heat.
