Cardsmart® Rolls Back Postage Rates

PAWTUCKET, RI (Sunday, July 31, 2005) - Cardsmart card shops are rolling back postage rates for customers throughout Rhode Island and parts of South Eastern Massachusetts and Connecticut at its Cardsmart card and gift shops, selling 37-cent stamps at the old 34-cent rate with up to four half-price card purchased during July.

"In keeping with our business strategy of selling cards at half-price everyday of the year, our franchisees want to give their customers every opportunity to save money and thought the recent postage rate hike was just another annoyance to families looking to make ends meet."

The Cardsmart store locations offering the postage rate savings are located at: Rhode Island Mall; Walnut Hill Plaza in Woonsocket, Johnston Plaza in Johnston, RI; Marshall's Plaza Cranston, North Providence, RI; Market Place; Target Center, Route 2 Warwick, RI; Apple Valley Mall, Triboro Plaza North Attleboro, MA; Seekonk Square Seekonk, MA; New Harbour Mall, Fall River, MA; Myles Standish Plaza, Plymouth, MA; Crescent Plaza, Brockton, MA; and Providence Pike, Putnam CT.
