Halloween in Madison WI

WHITEWATER, WI (Thursday, November 04, 2004) - As an estimated 300,000 people descended on Madison for the annual UW Halloween bash, the crew at the Regent Street store geared up for a record night and week. The week was highlighted by a $21,100 Saturday night which included a 1300 pizza order!

It was a monumental undertaking that took several weeks of planning. People worked 12 to 15+ hour shifts – Brendyn, the “dough guy” worked 10am to 3am Saturday making almost 500 trays of dough and he chopped 28 tubs of cheese…twice!

Several Topper’s people drove in from LaCrosse, Stevens Point and Oshkosh to help. Some former Topper’s superstars also made guest appearances. Thank you to Noll, Egan, Hariet, Andy, all the visitors and especially to the hardworking crew in the Madison store for setting a record that will be hard to beat!
