Corporate Office Raises Funds To Fight Ms
ERDENHEIM, PA (Monday, April 19, 2004) -
For the third year in a row, the Griswold family and employees of GRISWOLD SPECIAL CARE completed the MS Walk to raise funds to fight MS. This year, MS Walk 2004 was held the Elmwood Zoo (Norristown, PA). It was so scenic and family oriented, said Dot Folz, team captain. The Walk became a stroll amid the animals and everyone enjoyed themselves.
Adding to the festive nature was the fact that this years donations more than doubled the previous two years. Corporate staff, their families and friends, as well as neighboring GRISWOLD SPECIAL CARE offices all dug deep. A Wall of paper sneakers (each at least $5) donated by members of a local CURVES exercise club put the Team over the top!
There are so many reasons we support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society commented Kent Griswold, But only one reason we walk. We walk for those who cannot.
Since its inception, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society has been the leading provider of programs for people with MS and their families. Programs of the Greater Delaware Valley PA Chapter are held in the GRISWOLD SPECIAL CARE Wellness and Education Center, renamed in 2002 to honor the dedication to the Chapter by the Griswold family.
