New President Takes Helm Of Kwik Kopy Business Centers

CYPRESS, TEXAS (Wednesday, August 03, 2005) - The International Center for Entrepreneurial Development (ICED), parent company of the Kwik Kopy Business Center (KKBC) franchise brand, has appointed Cindy Navin as new KKBC president. Concurrently serving as senior vice president at ICED, she assumed her expanded role on August 1, succeeding Brian Gay, ICED’s executive vice
president.

In 2000, Navin conceptualized the idea of offering a wide range of business services under one roof. Kwik Kopy Business Centers provide a “one-stop shop” – design, color printing, and digital copying and printing. KKBC accepts files electronically for all types of printing projects, and assists in consulting, creating and distributing marketing materials for businesses of any size. Parcel Plus, another brand in the ICED network of franchises, is part of the KKBC offering – packing and shipping, cargo and private mailbox rentals are included in the franchise package. The first two KKBC centers opened their doors in early 2002.

“I believe in the concept,” says Navin. “It has been well-received by consumers and business opportunity-seekers alike. KKBC is a highly sought-after franchise both domestically and internationally because it offers a profitable, streamlined approach to selling business services.”

The brand has appeared two consecutive years on Entrepreneur Magazine’s list of Top 500 Franchises since its debut in late 2001. KKBC also made their list of rising stars this year, ranking number 38 of 50 Top New Franchises started since 1999.

“I'm please to be involved once again overseeing KKBC,” says Navin. “The business model is obviously a great idea – our competition seems to like it.”
