NEWPORT BEACH, CA (Monday, June 30, 2003) - zpizza, the Southern California based gourmet pizza restaurant chain, has signed multi-unit franchise agreements to bring additional restaurants to Orange County, Sacramento, Thousand Oaks and Nevada making the total of 40 restaurants in development throughout California, Nevada and Arizona. Five zpizza restaurants will open this year bringing the total number of open restaurants to 23 by years end.
