Volvo Rents Opens New Rental Center In Hawaii

HONOLULU (Tuesday, October 18, 2005) - Volvo Construction Equipment Rents, Inc. (Volvo Rents), has announced the opening of a new Volvo Rents equipment rental franchise on the island of Oahu, Hawaii.

All Islands Equipment Rental, LLC, Honolulu, owned by its employees, has opened the first Volvo Rents center in Kapolei at 91-335 Kaiholo Street. The new equipment rental center is the first of several the company will open in the islands.

The new Volvo Rents center, an independently owned and operated franchise, will carry, in addition to Volvo construction equipment, a comprehensive line of essential equipment and tools for the construction, commercial, industrial and homeowner markets.

Principal Volvo products for its franchised rental centers include its extensive line of compact excavators and wheel loaders and the company’s backhoe and skid steer loaders.

Volvo Rents centers are independently owned and operated franchises within the Volvo Construction Equipment rental program. The unique program was designed by Volvo CE and covers all aspects of an operating rental business model. Features include use of the Volvo brand, financial assistance, a fleet purchasing program for non-Volvo products, a Volvo Rents proprietary software program, training, facility design and local and regional marketing.
