Popular Cleveland Based Sub & Sandwich Shop Mr. Hero Opens In Miamisburg

Mr. Hero Restaurants opened a new location in Miamisburg, Ohio on South Springboro Pike on December 9, 2002.

MIAMISBURG, OHIO (Monday, December 09, 2002) - Niel Thakkar, owner of the Miamisburg Mr. Hero, planned and executed an exceptional grand opening. He anticipated having a high volume restaurant due to the overwhelming number of office parks and retail stores in the area. During the first week of his grand opening festivities, Thakkar often conversed with customers outside his storefront.

“The location is good, the products are exceptional, the employees are well-trained, and as a result the customers have been very happy,” Thakkar said.

Thakkar is experienced in the restaurant franchise industry, as he currently owns an India Express Restaurant and a Dunkin’ Donuts shop. The India Express Restaurant is adjacent to Mr. Hero.

Although Thakkar works many days from dawn until dusk overseeing three restaurants and shops, he remains enthusiastic about his new venture with Mr. Hero and its parent company, Restaurant Developers Corp. The businesses are a family affair as his wife and teenage children work with him to ensure that they operate smoothly.

For over 30 years, Mr. Hero Restaurants has been renowned for its cheesesteaks and diverse menu offerings. Aside from the ever-popular hot grilled steaks, burgers, and subs, the Miamisburg menu has an extensive selection of side offerings such as Potato Waffer® Fries, Mozzarella Sticks, and Poppers. Also offered are fresh salad combinations, pasta, and deli subs.
