Roger Kyriacou Purchases The Merlin Muffler & Brake In Palatine, Illinois

GENEVA , IL (Friday, January 14, 2005) - Mr. Roger Kyriacou purchased the business assets and franchise rights for the Merlin Muffler & Brake Shop located at 1450 North Rand Road, Palatine, Illinois (phone no. 847-991-3666).

Mr. Kyriacou entered the travel industry 22 years ago as an account executive and accountant with Thomas Cook Travel (Beirut, Lebanon). From 1990 to 1994, he served as an international agent/account executive with Olympia Express/Neotours (Chicago, Illinois). While holding the position of database manager with Galileo International (Rosemont, Illinois) since 1994, Mr. Kyriacou managed and trained a team of 65 members, conducted presentations to international clients, and oversaw an Intranet Task Force.

In 1986, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from American University in Beirut, Lebanon. Fluent in four languages (Arabic, English, French, and Greek), Mr. Kyriacou qualified for equity assistance through Merlin’s TLP Program. This helped facilitate his Merlin business acquisition.

Mrs. Marlene Kyriacou, also a successful graduate of Merlin’s Management Program and Roger’s wife, will play a leadership role in the Palatine operation.
