Bruegger's Introduces New Line Of "bruegger's Worthy" Desserts

Offers guests an array of traditional favorites and new offerings

BURLINGTON, VT. (Tuesday, November 08, 2005) - With the holidays just around the corner, there's no better time to satisfy your sweet tooth with a little dessert. Bruegger's Enterprises, Inc. today announced that it has introduced a new line of desserts nationwide bearing the "Bruegger's Worthy" stamp of approval. The new line of desserts includes some traditional favorites to complement the new desserts.

"The new desserts expand our existing desserts menu and offers our guests an assortment of treats that can be enjoyed any time of day," said Scott Hughes, Vice President of Marketing, Bruegger's. "We're offering our guests traditional favorites like cookies and muffins, but we also wanted to expand our desserts menu and offer some new, unique desserts."

New additions to the Bruegger's dessert line are the Seven Layer Bar, Oreo® Dream Bar and the Lemon Pound cake.

The Seven Layer Bar is a heavenly concoction with alternating layers of dark chocolate, walnuts, butterscotch, coconut and a buttery graham crunch topped with chocolate kisses. The Oreo® Dream Bar brings one of America's favorite and most recognizable cookies to the Bruegger's menu. The bar features large Oreo® chunks folded into white chocolate cheese with bittersweet and creamy chocolate layers. A traditional favorite that offers guests a familiar dessert, the Lemon Pound cake is a light, citrusy pound cake bursting with a tart lemon glaze.

Also joining the new dessert menu are two new feature flavored muffins that are traditional favorites at breakfast or snack time - the Blueberry Muffin and Morning Glory Muffin. For the first time, Bruegger's bakeries are rolling out a muffin program nationwide to all 240 bakeries.

The new desserts compliment the existing Bruegger's desserts menu featuring:

Toffee Almond Bar
Brownie Bar
Chocolate Chunk Cookie

We're just calling attention to the fact that we put just as much care and time into our desserts as we do with all of our menu items."

Bruegger's desserts retail for $1.49 - $2.29. The Oreo® Dream Bar and Seven Layer Bar retail for $2.29 and the Lemon Pound Cake retails for $1.99. All desserts are available at Bruegger's bakeries nationwide.
