Coffee Beanery Set To Grow Rapidly In Chicagoland Area

FLUSHING, MICHIGAN (Friday, April 25, 2003) - The Coffee Beanery, which has stores in 28 states and 7 countries and is expanding rapidly internationally, has chosen Chicago and the Chicago area as one of its domestic focus markets. "We have commitments from franchisees in the Chicago area, and we expect to open 10 stores in Chicago and surrounding areas in the next 12 months," said Joanne Shaw, founder and president of The Coffee Beanery. "The Chicago area has been targeted because of the level of interest from potential franchisees and the broad customer base that fit our customer profile." The Coffee Beanery opened the first franchise location in this target market area recently in Naperville.
