Oxford Learning Partners With Kidsfutures™

(Thursday, July 14, 2005) - Oxford Learning – Canada’s leading expert in preparing children for lifelong learning success with more than 100 learning centres across Canada – today announced a new partnership with KidsFutures, an innovative rewards program that enables Canadian families to save money for their children’s education. Effective July 1, 2005, parents who prepay for 100 hours of tuition for their child in Oxford Learning’s Beyond Tutoring or Advantage High School Success programs, will receive $80 towards their KidsFutures Education Savings Account.

The KidsFutures Rewards Program allows adult family members to earn cash rewards by purchasing for their families’ varied needs from a wide selection of KidsFutures product, service and retail Partner companies. The KidsFutures Rewards can then be directed into any existing or new education savings plan (RESP, GIC or Mutual Fund) at any financial institution. As an added benefit, KidsFutures Rewards directed into any RESP qualify for the Government of Canada’s generous Canada Education Savings Grant – adding another 20%-40% to RESP deposits. The cumulative savings can quickly add up. For example, if a parent, an aunt, an uncle, and one grandparent each earned $10 a week in KidsFutures Rewards, simply by channeling their current spending behavior to KidsFutures Partners, they would accumulate over $31,000 in education savings after 10 years and almost $56,000 after 15 years. If just one family member earned $10 in KidsFutures Rewards every week, they would save almost $14,000 in 15 years.
