“On Your Behalf” Another New Benefit to Carlson Wagonlit Travel Associates

Enhancement to Email Program Unveiled at 2005 National Meeting

ANAHEIM, CA (Saturday, September 17, 2005) - Today, the Carlson Wagonlit Travel Associate Division announced the “On Your Behalf” program. This enhanced email program allows messages, to Carlson Wagonlit Travel Associate customers, to be sent from Carlson headquarters; freeing up our travel experts to spend more one-on-one time with their clients. The program was unveiled during today’s general session of the 2005 Carlson Wagonlit Travel Associates’ National Meeting in Anaheim, CA.

Many Carlson Wagonlit Travel customers currently receive weekly “Travel Flash” emails and supplemental emails with travel tips, fun facts and promotions, created at Carlson headquarters and designed for Associates to pass on to their customer database electronically. With the new “On Your Behalf” program, Carlson headquarters will both create email messages and send them to Associates’ customers—‘on their behalf’. The message appears to customers as coming from their travel expert, but Carlson headquarters has executed the creation and distribution.

“It’s a program that makes email marketing a lot easier,” said Becky Geyer, vice president of marketing. “Our Associates can still view the email messages going out, track them and maintain access to all the information sent on their behalf. They receive all the marketing benefits, but now with no time invested in the distribution process!”

“On Your Behalf” was developed as part of Carlson’s proprietary,Q3 customer relationship management tool. In keeping with all laws governing Internet-based messaging, these emails will only be sent to consumers who have chosen the opt-in feature to receive messages from Carlson Wagonlit Travel. As a TRUSTe certified company, Carlson Wagonlit Travel customers are guaranteed the highest level of privacy and security with their personal data. For Associates who use Q3, the enhanced “On Your Behalf” distribution is free of charge.

Also announced on Saturday, the brand site of www.carlsontravel.com will undergo a complete redesign. The new look and feel of the site will be enhanced with new reservation booking tools for air, rental car, hotel and cruise vacations. These new booking engines will be used by both consumers and Carlson travel experts for completing travel transactions. The redesigned site will be launched during the first quarter of 2006.
