Cottman Transmission Announces 27 Platinum Centers for 2005

HORSHAM, PA (Wednesday, January 12, 2005) - Cottman Transmission Systems, LLC, announced today that 27 locations have qualified as Platinum Care Centers for 2005. The Platinum Care Center program acknowledges those Cottman centers that have demonstrated excellence in customer service and achieved the highest quality standards. The 27 centers that qualified for 2005 are: Northampton, MA, Charlestown, MA, Chicopee, MA, Merritt Island, FL, Pembroke Pines, FL, Chesapeake, VA, Toms River, NJ, Marlton, NJ, Missouri City, TX, Georgetown, TX, Killeen, TX, Pasadena, TX, Round Rock, TX, York, PA (Bannister), Zelienople, PA, Washington, PA, Pittsburgh (Steubenville), PA, Philadelphia, PA (Frankford Avenue), Cheltenham, PA, Camp Hill, PA, Oklahoma City (Memorial), OK, West Fargo, ND, St. Charles (Mexico Road), MO, Grand Rapids, MI, Bedford, OH, Salisbury, MD, Fort Smith, AR. To qualify, centers had to have top scores in six different categories: customer satisfaction, technical expertise, store appearance, operations procedures, use of electronic diagnosis equipment, and participation in national Cottman system events. “It is clear from our most recent customer data that people choose Cottman for their transmission work because they want a specialist who can handle today’s incredibly complex automotive technology,” said Todd P. Leff, President and CEO of Cottman. “With this program, we are rewarding and acknowledging 27 of our top centers and driving continuous improvement in these six categories.” Customers will be able to identify a Platinum Care Center through the Platinum Care Center logo, used on in-store signs, window decals, the Cottman Transmission website dealer locator (www.cottman.com), yellow page advertising, and business cards. These 27 Platinum Care Centers will display their 2005 quality designation throughout the year.
