Firehouse Subs ads earn high honors at Tampas 2004 ADDY competition
Ads by Firehouse Subs agency, Dunn&Co., brings home 13 ADDYs, including five Golds and two Best of Bays
TAMPA FLA. (Monday, March 08, 2004) -
Firehouse Subs, a Jacksonville-based sub sandwich chain, has earned high honors for its advertising, winning seven ADDYs at the 2004 Tampa Bay Advertising Federations ADDY Award Gala.
An outdoor campaign earned four Gold ADDYs, the company said today. The companys CPR Guide, an instructional how-to marketing guide for Firehouse store managers, also won a Gold ADDY. Both the outdoor campaign and the CPR Guide were also awarded prestigious Best of Bay Awards.
In addition, Silver ADDYs were awarded for Firehouse Subs in-store point of purchase materials, as well as for a logo designed for Firehouse Subs 100th Station Celebration.
The awards were handed out at the Award Gala on Feb. 28.
All of the examples were designed and executed by Dunn&Co., Firehouse Subs advertising agency. Dunn&Co. is a Tampa-based agency that has been in business just eight months.

The ADDY Award Gala was held Saturday at Tampas A La Carte Pavilion. News Channel 8 Daytime Host Brian Fasulo served as master of ceremonies.
According to the Tampa Bay Advertising Federation, the ADDY Awards recognize and showcase the Tampa Bay areas most creative advertising talent. Nearly 500 entries were evaluated in January by a panel of judges selected from around the country. The entries were submitted by advertising agencies, design boutiques, in-house marketing departments and freelance creative talent from around the area. -0- ABOUT FIREHOUSE SUBS: Started just 10 years ago by two brothers, Robin and Chris Sorensen, two Jacksonville, Fla. firefighters, Firehouse Subs has grown like wildfire.
