Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwich Shops is Hosting Customer Appreciation Days in Grayslake

Celebrations planned for September 30 and October 1

CHAMPAIGN, ILL. (Thursday, September 29, 2005) - Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwich Shops in Grayslake, Ill., is thanking its loyal customers by holding customer appreciation days on Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both days. The store is located at 1152 Washington Street.

During the four-hour events, Jimmy John's will sell its award-winning subs for $1.50. Also, a portion of the sales will be donated to the American Red Cross to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwich Shops is unlike any sub shop in the industry; no games or gimmicks, just old-fashioned, homemade sandwiches made from fresh-baked bread, all-natural meats and vegetables that are sliced daily at each restaurant.

The 44-seat restaurant has 15 employees and is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The store delivers to Grayslake and Gurnee area and accepts all major credit cards.

Michael Dagel and Ashish Patel of Mach 4, Inc. own and operate the restaurant. The Grayslake location is the group's first Jimmy John's store. They plan to open a second location in Mundelein in October and have plans to open additional stores in Wheeling and Prospect Heights by next year.
