Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwich Shops Makes Seattle Area Debut

Franchise Group Opens First of 10 Locations

CHAMPAIGN, ILL. (Wednesday, October 05, 2005) - Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwich Shops recently introduced its fresh, homemade sandwiches to the residents of Bellevue, Wash. The store, which is located at 141 106th Avenue NE, is the first of 10 Jimmy John's to open in the Seattle metropolitan market.

Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwich Shops, which is based in Champaign, Illinois, signed a 10-unit agreement with Sandwich SC, LLC in January of 2005. The company plans to open the second location in November near the University of Washington campus. The franchise group plans to open a store a quarter and have all 10 locations open by 2008.

A staple on college campuses, the rapidly growing Jimmy John's is unlike any sub shop in the industry. No games or gimmicks, just old-fashioned, homemade sandwiches made from fresh-baked bread, all-natural meats and vegetables that are sliced daily at each restaurant.
