Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwich Shops Plans Customer Appreciation Day in Fort Collins

Store thanks customers with special offer

CHAMPAIGN, ILL. (Wednesday, October 26, 2005) - Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwich Shops in Fort Collins, Colo., is thanking its loyal customers by holding a customer appreciation day on Friday, November 4 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 133 S. College Ave., which is located a half block south of Mountain Avenue.

During the four-hour celebration, Jimmy John's will sell its award-winning subs (#1 through #6) for $1 and chips and drinks for 50 cents each.

Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwich Shops is unlike any sub shop in the industry; no games or gimmicks, just old-fashioned, homemade sandwiches made from fresh-baked bread, all-natural meats and vegetables that are sliced daily at each restaurant.

The restaurant offers customers seating for 42 inside and eight outside and has 25 employees. The store is open daily from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m., delivers to the immediate area, and accepts all major credit cards.

David Hynds and John Hynds of Hynds Bros. Inc., own and operate the restaurant. David previously worked at a law firm. "I eventually realized that I didn't want to pursue law. My brother and I love Jimmy John's and decided to look into owning our own store. The more we investigated, the more we liked the company. We decided to take the plunge and the rest is history." This is the group's first store, with plans to open at least five more locations in Fort Collins.
