Auntie Anne's Café Opens in Willow Street, Pennsylvania

Store Adds New Twist to Pretzel Franchise

GAP, PENNSYLVANIA (Tuesday, November 25, 2003) - Auntie Anne's, Inc. returns to Kendig Square Shopping Center in Willow Street with the opening of Auntie Anne's Café. The first day of business is set for Wednesday, November 26.
Auntie Anne's Café will offer an array of menu items appealing to guests morning, noon, and night, including signature sandwiches served on Auntie Anne's pretzel rolls, Auntie Anne's hand-rolled soft pretzels, Auntie Anne's Cre-ámo® frozen custard, and a children's menu. The Kendig Square location, approximately 2000 square feet, is part casual dining atmosphere, part coffee house, and part takeout, with seating for approximately 30 guests and a coffee bar - participating in the Starbucks® We Proudly Brew program.

At Auntie Anne's, we continue to explore new avenues to extend and grow our business. While the Café fulfills that new avenue, coming back to Kendig Square gives us the opportunity to reconnect with our community, our neighbors, said Sam Beiler, President and COO of Auntie Anne's, Inc. We had a franchised pretzel location here in the early '90s . it's good to be back and even better to hear it from folks who stopped to say so when we were building the Café.

In addition to serving Auntie Anne's pretzel sandwiches, Auntie Anne's Café will provide patrons the opportunity to catch up on emails or surf the net through wireless Internet capabilities. Guests will enjoy the information highway through either their own laptops (equipped to support wireless Internet access) or one of the computer stations available in the Café.

Located next to The UPS Store, the Café will employ 15 - 20 people with operating hours seven days a week: Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
