Entrepreneur Magazine Names The Maids Home Services 2004’s Fastest Growing Residential Cleaning Franchise

(Tuesday, February 08, 2005) - The Maids Home Services, a pioneering leader in the residential home cleaning industry since 1980, announced today that it has been named by Entrepreneur magazine as the nation’s fastest-growing residential cleaning franchise for 2004. This is the second year in a row The Maids has topped the list. The ranking is based on verified data from the magazine’s 26th Annual Franchise 500 report.

Entrepreneur ranked The Maids Home Services as part of its “101 Fastest-Growing Franchises for 2005” report, published in the magazine’s January, 2005 issue. The Maids Home Services was listed 26th overall.

“Residential cleaning is increasingly recognized as a high-growth industry, and The Maids Home Services is leading the pack. The Maids Home Services ranked 80th in the "Franchise 500" rank. This list is based upon numerous factors, including financial strength and stability, growth rate, and size of the system. Entrepreneur also considers the number of years in business and length of time franchising, startup costs, litigation, percentage of terminations, and whether the company provides financing. This 2005 ranking of 80th is up from 193rd in 2004 and 363rd in 2003.

The Maids also ranked 76th in Entrepreneur's "America’s Top Global Franchises," which is up from ranking 156th in 2004. This list ranks America's top 200 franchisors seeking international franchisees. The ranking is based on information from Entrepreneur's "Franchise 500."
