Green Industry Leader Meets With Former US President

HOLMDEL, NJ (Tuesday, May 04, 2004) - Russell J. Frith, President & CEO, Lawn Doctor, Inc., and Immediate Past Chairman and current Assistant Treasurer for the International Franchise Association (IFA), recently met with former President George H. W. Bush at the IFA’s 44th Annual Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. Frith regarded the 2004 IFA convention as the largest event to date, with more than 2,000 attendees and said, “We were glad to see other green industry franchisors attend this event, which offers unfettered access to the best minds in franchising. Frith credits the strong partnership among franchisors, franchisees and suppliers as the foundation for the success of the franchising community. “Interacting with your peers guarantees you a wealth of new knowledge. Former President and Mrs. Bush were spotlighted as the keynote speakers during the IFA Convention’s Opening General Session, offering their insights on the upcoming presidential election and the political and economic climate. When asked about the impact of the Green Industry on the economy, Frith had this to say, “The Green Industry contributes more than $40 billion to the US economy, significantly impacting the economy in a positive way.”
