Menu Mix, Multi-Day-Part Boost Openings/Upgrades

SIOUX FALLS, SD (Friday, September 09, 2005) - Hot Stuff Foods™ increased its branded partnerships to over 400 new c-stores by either opening new Hot Stuff units or upgrading existing ones from Jan 1 to the beginning of September. According to President and CEO, Des Hague, the food solution’s provider’s key to consistent growth has been a combination of factors, especially the company’s new menu initiatives and multi-day-part capabilities. “We’ve always had great Hot Stuff Pizza®,” noted Hague, “and now we’re making an extra effort to draw our retailer partner’s customers into the store with an assortment of new items.” Hague recently announced a very strong promotion of the company’s newest offering – Hot Stuff Foods Market Selects™ (sandwiches), which is receiving national mainstream media presence in both USA Today and the Outdoor Channel via Hot Stuff Foods’™ partnership with the World of Outlaws Spring (racing) Series®.

Ethnic Food is Hot - Hague also reported increased sales on the Hot Stuff Foods ethnic line of XXL Taquitos™ and XXL Chinese Rollz™. The items are especially designed for the company’s Good to Go Eats™ initiative in that they are portable and car-friendly, thus ideal for “dashboard dining.” XXL Chinese Rollz™ come in three varieties – Orange Chicken, Pepper Steak and Teriyaki Chicken, and the XXL Taquitos are filled with choice meats & cheese fillings including a line of XXL Breakfast Taquitos™.

All Day - Hague finds the recent headlines on QSRs new breakfast programs interesting, given the fact that Hot Stuff has been serving over 1500 c-store customers breakfast items for over a dozen years. “We were one of the first companies to offer breakfast pizzas with popular toppings such as egg & sausage. We now have offer 50 different breakfast items to choose from including our Hot Stuff gourmet cinnamon roll, warm donuts, biscuit sandwiches, XXL breakfast Taquitos™ (as mentioned), a full Caffé Origins™ coffee program and much more. In addition, our Pizza Tonite™ program for the dinner day-part is still very popular with time-starved and hungry families.
