Midas Presentation at Morgan Keegan Conference Will Be Available on Webcast

ITASCA, IL (Monday, May 23, 2005) - The presentation by Midas, Inc. (NYSE:MDS) at the Morgan Keegan Specialty Retail Conference in New York on Tuesday, May 24, will be available via real-time webcast from 9:35 until 10:05 a.m. EDT.

The presentation by Alan D. Feldman, Midas' president and chief executive officer, and William M. The webcast presentation will be available until June 14.

Morgan Keegan analyst John Lawrence initiated coverage on Midas earlier this month with an "outperform" rating.
