Jani-King Signs National Deal with Communications

ADDISON, TX (Sunday, June 05, 2005) - Over the past three months, Jani-King’s national accounts division gathered information and put its best foot forward in an effort to gain communications giant Sprint as its newest client. In the end, the hours of number crunching and negotiating paid off when Sprint announced that Jani-King would receive a national cleaning contract for 382 of the company’s retail locations.

“This was a complete and total team effort,” said Todd Murphy, Vice President of National Accounts at Jani-King. ”So many people contributed to the signing of this account. From the presentation team that met with Sprint executives in Kansas City to the team behind the scenes here at Jani-King’s corporate office, everybody who contributed is to be congratulated for their efforts.”

Now that the agreement has been signed, Jani-King’s national accounts division as well as operations personnel are working with specific regions to ensure a smooth start-up.

The current contract calls for cleaning services to be provided in three of Sprint’s U.S. regions --Western, Northeast and Southeast. The Western Region consists of nine Jani-King regional offices including Hawaii, Portland, Seattle, San Francisco/Oakland, Sacramento, Los Angeles, San Diego, Salt Lake City and Las Vegas. The Northeast region will also utilize the services of nine Jani-King regional offices in Buffalo, Boston, Hartford, Rhode Island, New York, Philadelphia, Richmond, Hampton Roads and Washington D.C. The Southeast region will call on Jani-King to provide services in Atlanta, Birmingham, Charlotte, Greensboro, Jacksonville, Knoxville, Louisville, Memphis, Miami, Nashville, Orlando, Raleigh/Durham and Tampa Bay.
