RaceWay opened an independent gas station in St. Louis, Missouri, 1934. The strategy was to be independent of major oil companies and be able to consistently offer lower-priced gasoline. The company expanded throughout the South and into Texas. RaceWay stores are Contract Operator, and a division of RaceTrac.

Our offering allows you the opportunity to capture and generate income, while avoiding tying up investment dollars in cost of ownership of a building and land, leasing these allow you to use your invest dollars in inventory. RaceWay owns, supplies, and prices the gasoline, paying commissions on every gallon sold, making your job easier. These services allow you to focus on your investment choices in inventory and service, which is your key revenue source.

There is no franchise fee. RaceWay is not a franchise, it is a contract operator relationship, and we do not require you to pay franchise fees, commissions, royalties, or advertising fees. Additionally long contacts, complex rules or proprietary food offering, mandated by others' agreements, will not bind you here. You will be able to manage your business to serve the demographics that your area demands and is most profitable for you.
